FC Bayern Munich Basketball has qualified for the BBL final. In the semifinals, the titleholder defeated Alba Berlin. The team, led by coach Svetislav Pesic, is looking to win its first title of the season. The final series will be against either Alba Berlin or Bamberg Baskets, who are coached by Anton Gavel. Bamberg Baskets had a strong defensive performance and seemed well-recovered after two tough losses in Berlin. The best scorer for Bamberg was Cobe Williams with 20 points and Ibi Watson with 18. Berlin's problem was their three-point shooting, as they only made one of 13 attempts before the break. Alba's comeback in the fourth quarter came too late.
